With less than one year left for the election, president Putin is creating a personality cult for himself using the "free" mass media of Russia. In the past, however, on several occasions he stated that running for president for the third term is not in his plans and that it is against the Russian constitution. The newly created cult of personality is useless if he will not run for president. One of his announced future plans include heading of Gazprom, so the prediction is that he will rename Russia to Gazprom and declare himself as president.



$1M bathtub stolen

TOKYO - A glittering bathtub made of gold worth nearly $1 million has been stolen from a resort hotel, an official said Wednesday.

A worker at Kominato Hotel Mikazuki in Kamogawa, south of Tokyo, notified police that the fancy tub was missing from the hotel’s guest bathroom on the 10th floor, according to a local police official who only gave his surname, Ogawa.
