A new NDP MP, who gained popularity lately because of spending time in Las Vegas during the election race is now under fire for the falsification of her candidacy papers. (They can't find her nomination papers or don't remember if they have existed and there are several claims that she never went campaigning in her riding during the election race.)
Ruth Ellen Brosseau, 27, a single mother and bartender, was a placeholder candidate for the New Democrats in the heavily francophone riding of Berthier-Maskinonge, northeast of Montreal.
Who would have thunken! If I knew it was that easy, I should have ran and became an MP.
