Enough was already said about the new generation that is growing up, who are being bombarded with credit card offers without having a job, nevertheless, here's another article that I think is a good read.

Yes, I know he's got his own agenda there and his phone number at the bottom and that "Often financial advisers refuse to help young people because they don't have a enough money" (of course, he never refuses) and that he's got his books listed on a side, etc.

Not every 30 year old is the way he describes it, but the pattern is definitely there. Somehow the priorities have shifted over the years. Young people of today think they have all the time in the world. Finish high school, travel the world (maybe teach English overseas?), maybe go to University afterwards, have fun til 30, get married by 35, settle down by 40.

Time is a funny thing after you hit 20-25 - it starts to fly. Before there was enough time to go to school, do some homework, watch a movie and go out with friends - all in one day. After 25, there's only enough time to go to work, eat dinner and sleep. You wait for the weekend, which you spend buying groceries and cleaning your house and then its all over again. Then you look forward to that 1 week vacation in the Caribbean and another year has gone by. Feels like Michael Jackson died a few months ago - all of the sudden they are celebrating the 1st anniversary of his death (and again - you are not invited). Anyway, the point of it all - don't let time fool you. The later you start, the less time you have.
