Organic products are gaining popularity lately and if you play your cards right, you can make some money - or even get rich (and quick)! Since 1990, the market for organic products has grown at a rapid pace, to reach $46 billion in 2007. Organic farming is the form of agriculture that relies on crop rotation, green manure, compost, biological pest control, and mechanical cultivation to maintain soil productivity and control pests, excluding or strictly limiting the use of synthetic fertilizers and synthetic pesticides, plant growth regulators, livestock antibiotics, food additives, and genetically modified organisms. All genetically modified foods and artificial flavors are losing their angle, and people are switching to organic products - anything from a free range chickens to organic makeup and organic washing liquids.
There are various ways where you could start. One example would be to join as a distributor one of the organic vendors. You can do this part time, without quitting your day job. Do your research and start with the more popular items (cosmetics, clothes, etc - food that can spoil is a harder sell). Distribute flyers in your neighborhood, put ads in your local newspaper and if you're lucky you'll get a few customers to get you started.
